In the years of 1991 to 1993, Haiti suffered from a lot of political turmoil. The president was overthrown. There was a lot of violence and many of the missionaries left Haiti for fear of their safety. I had just finished seminary and was looking for different possibilities in which to serve the Lord. As I was watching the news and listening to the chaotic situation in Haiti I felt like I was hearing a voice saying, 'Whom shall I send?' I responded to this call and dedicated my life to preaching the good news to every corner of Haiti. In December 1993, I moved to the city of Cap Haitien. At that time, I felt much like Abraham in going to a place where God had sent me and waiting for the Lord to use me in any way possible. Cap Haitien is the second largest city of Haiti with close to a quarter of a million people. Our vision is to saturate this city and it's surrounding areas with the message of the Gospel. We believe that the light of the Gospel will shine out of darkness so that Haiti might know that Jesus is Lord.
